How to log in to TraceAir
TraceAir is a web-based platform for construction site intelligence. To access TraceAir, open any web browser and navigate to office.traceair.net. Log in with your TraceAir email and password. No app download or installation is required.
TraceAir works on desktop computers, tablets, and mobile phones. The mobile interface is slightly condensed but fully functional — all tools and features are available on every device.
How to navigate between sites
The black bar at the top of the screen shows the current site name. Click it to see all sites within your account or division that you have access to. You can sort sites by name or by date, and switch between divisions if you have multi-division access.
What are the main areas of the platform?
The TraceAir Office platform is organized into these areas:
Left sidebar contains the primary tools: Scans, Exhibits, Compare Surfaces, Overlays, Markups, Saved Quantities, Views, Files, Print, and Support.
Top navigation bar contains Measure tools (Distance & Slope, Area & Perimeter, Elevation & Coordinates, Cross Section, Stockpiles, Counter), Plan & Track tools (Cut/Fill Balance, Track Quantities, Utilities), Draw tools, Markup tools, and Snip Screen and Save Exhibit.
Right-side controls include the Compass (resets map to north), Geolocation (shows your GPS position on the map), and Zoom controls.
What keyboard shortcuts are available?
TraceAir has limited keyboard shortcut support. Escape exits the current active tool. Ctrl+Z undoes actions when using Draw tools. No other keyboard shortcuts are currently available.
How to use geolocation on site
If you are on site with a mobile device, click the Geolocation button (on the right side of the screen near the compass). A blue dot will appear on the map showing your real-time GPS position. This is useful for field walkthroughs — you can see your exact location relative to overlays and site plans.

What browsers does TraceAir support?
TraceAir works in all modern browsers. Google Chrome is recommended for the best desktop experience.
Can I use TraceAir offline?
No. TraceAir requires an internet connection to load site data and drone scan imagery.
